I understand that life can be unpredictable, and schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late fee. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the session will be considered a no-show, allowing me to protect the time set aside for you. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in maintaining consistent and productive sessions.

No, I do not provide crisis or emergency services. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 immediately. If you or someone you know is having an emotional crisis or feeling suicidal, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK or text HOME to 741741. Your first appointment will be an intake session, during which we will focus on getting to know you and understanding your unique needs. During this time, we’ll talk about your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy or evaluation. I may ask about your personal history, daily experiences, and any challenges you’ve been facing, as well as the strengths and supports you already have in place.
The intake session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what you hope to gain, and become comfortable with the process. If we are beginning an evaluation, I’ll also explain what testing will look like and which areas we’ll be focusing on. If we are starting therapy, we’ll discuss how sessions typically work and outline your treatment goals together.
Overall, the first session is less about jumping straight into problem-solving and more about building a foundation of trust and understanding, so we can move forward in a way that feels supportive and meaningful for you.

The first step is to complete the contact form on my website. Once your form is submitted, I’ll reach out within 24–48 hours to schedule a brief phone consultation. During this call, we’ll discuss your current concerns, address any questions you may have, and together decide whether moving forward with therapy or an evaluation feels like the right fit.

Questions are a natural part of starting something new.
I’m here to answer them and help you feel at ease.
