Dr. Frances Psychological Services

Psychological Services

Individual Therapy

I provide therapy for adolescents and young adults experiencing:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Grief and loss

  • ADHD and autism

  • Academic, career, or relationship difficulties

  • Self-esteem and identity challenges

Therapy is offered exclusively online via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, providing flexibility, privacy, and accessibility. Sessions focus not only on overcoming challenges but also on uncovering your unique strengths and resources.

Psychological Testing & Assessments

Psychological evaluations can provide clarity, answers, and a path forward. I offer assessments for:

  • ADHD evaluations

  • Autism evaluations

  • Learning disability assessments

  • Diagnostic clarification (anxiety, depression, mood disorders)

Testing may include standardized measures, interviews, questionnaires, and rating scales from multiple perspectives (e.g., you, family, teachers).

The process provides:
✔️ A clear diagnosis (if applicable)
✔️ Insight into strengths and challenges
✔️ Personalized recommendations for school, work, or daily life
✔️ Documentation for accommodations or treatment

 Take a Moment for Yourself…

You don’t have to carry everything on your own anymore. Together, we can help you feel grounded, understood, and ready for the next step.

Are you feeling…

  • When everything feels like too much at once, and no matter how hard you try, it’s difficult to keep up.

  • About your health, your future, or what’s coming next — unsure how to handle the changes ahead.

  • From juggling so many responsibilities, feeling like you have nothing left to give.

  • Grieving losses, changes, or simply feeling weighed down by heavy emotions.

  • For not doing enough, for making mistakes, or for not feeling “okay” even when you think you should.

  • Even when there are people around, feeling unseen, unheard, or disconnected.

Healing and growth look different for everyone. That’s why I offer both therapy and psychological evaluations—to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.

FAQs

  • Yes! I accept Aetna, United, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna.

  • I accept all major credit cards, HSA’s (Health Savings Account), FSA’s (Flexible Savings Account), and Care Credit.

CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that helps make mental health, medical, dental, and other wellness services more affordable. It allows you to pay for services upfront and then pay off the balance over time with flexible monthly payment options. Many clients find it helpful for managing the cost of therapy or psychological testing when they prefer not to pay in full at the time of service.

  • I understand that life happens, and schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late fee. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the session will be considered a no-show so that I can protect the time set aside for you. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping sessions consistent and productive.

  • Your first appointment will be an intake session, which is focused on getting to know you and understanding your unique needs. During this time, we’ll talk about your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy or evaluation. I may ask about your personal history, daily experiences, and any challenges you’ve been facing, as well as the strengths and supports you already have.

The intake session is also a chance for you to ask questions, share what you’re hoping to gain, and get comfortable with the process. If we are beginning an evaluation, I’ll also explain what testing will look like and which areas we’ll be focusing on. If we are starting therapy, we’ll discuss how sessions typically work and outline your treatment goals together.

Overall, the first session is less about jumping straight into problem-solving and more about building a foundation of trust and understanding, so we can move forward in a way that feels supportive and meaningful for you.

  • The first step is to complete the contact form on my website. Once your form is submitted, I’ll reach out within 24–48 hours to schedule a brief phone consultation. During this call, we’ll discuss your current concerns, answer any questions you may have, and decide together whether moving forward with therapy or an evaluation feels like the right fit.
